Stephen A. Wright, 72, of Haddonfield, NJ, peacefully passed away at home on July 08, 2021. Steve was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 20, 1948 and was preceded in death by his parents Theodore R. Wright and Mary R. Wright (nee Pingelli), brother to Michael A. Wright. He is survived by his beloved children Daniel S. Wright and Kelly R. Wright, brother David R. Wright and Granddaughter Roxanne Marie R. Wright.  

Steve graduated from Olney High School in Philadelphia in 1966. He received his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Temple Technical Institute in 1969 before serving in the US Army as an MP in the Vietnam War. Steve received his Bachelors in Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami in 1974. He received his Masters in Public Administration from American University in 1990. Steve traveled the world during his 44 year career as a licensed Professional Engineer before retiring in 2019. 

Steve was an avid cyclist, skier, traveler, fisherman, hiker, storyteller, yogi, author, lyricist, musician and entertainer. Steve enjoyed dancing Zydeco, playing guitar, attending concerts, being outdoors, and spending summer months at the Jersey Shore with friends. 

Since 2016, Steve shared his love of music as a volunteer guitarist for WXPN Musicians On Call (MOC) performing for 1,070 patients, caregivers, and staff throughout the Philadelphia area. To honor Steve’s memory, donations can be made to
