R. CHARLES “CHAP” PATTI

Audubon, NJ – R. Charles (Chap) Patti DPM, age 99 peacefully passed away at Brandywine Living,Voorhees, NJ on December 25, 2020.  Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years Angeline A. (Magazu), sister Mary Notaro and brother Leonardo Patti.  Survived by his stepson Michael E. DiGennaro and wife Ellen T. (Panepinto) nieces Diane Gaskill (Glenn) and their son, Dr. Neil Gaskill and family, Kathleen Haines  (John) and Karen Notaro.

He enlisted in the US Army in 1942 and was honorary discharged in 1946.  He received a BS from LaSalle University, doctoral and residency at Temple University School of Chiropody. Dr Patti commenced his private podiatry practice in 1962 in Audubon, NJ where he served his beloved community for over 50+ years. He was beloved and respected by his family, friends, and colleagues for a life defined by compassion, caring and integrity. He was passionate for the game of golf and was a champion of the sport. He applied his surgical skills to become a master craftman in model railroad where he built  his award wining layout entitled “Winged Foot and Western RR.” He is regarded highly by many and will be missed by all. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass Thursday Dec. 31, 11 AM at St. Clare of Assisi Church 130 Broad St Swedesboro, NJ. Interment with Military Honors private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery St, NJ. Those in attendance will kindly follow the sfety practice of social distancing and wearing masks. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
