On August 23, 2018, Kristin MacDonald Fenerty of Haddonfield, NJ, passed away at age 51.  Kristin is the Beloved Wife of John F.X. Fenerty, Jr., and the Loving Mother to John F.X. Fenerty, III (“Jack”) and Charlotte Maier Fenerty.  Kristin is survived by her parents Donald J. MacDonald and Bernardine MacDonald (nee Lafont) of Ocean City, NJ.  She is also survived by many beloved family members: Scott MacDonald (Debbie), Megan MacDonald Gray (Dan), Andrew MacDonald (Anneliese), Heather MacDonald (Frank), Rory Callaghan (Jennifer), Jamie Fenerty Levin (Rob), Megan Santamaria (Rich), and her in-laws John F.X. Fenerty, Sr. and Paula J. Fenerty.  Kristin is the Beloved Aunt to Alexander, Aiden & Avery MacDonald, to Daniel, Donald & Margaux Gray, and to Cameron & Liam MacDonald, Max & Leo Levin, and Nicole Callaghan.  Kristin is also survived by far too many wonderful and beloved friends to count.  She loved each and every one of us.

A Villanova Graduate (1992) and former wine salesperson, Kristin devoted her life to making the lives of her children and husband the most wonderful experience of their lives.  Kristin was also focused on the happiness of her extended family and friends.  She lived to make everyone’s lives better.  Her touch was magic and her smile was radiant, charming, sincere, and instantly calming.  She will be forever missed, but will always remembered warmly for all the wonderful joy that she provided to us on this earth.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation Wednesday August 29th 10:00 to 11:45 AM at Christ the King Church 200 Windsor Ave. Haddonfield, NJ. Kristin’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Interment Private.  In Lieu of flowers Contributions in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.


On August 20, 2018 Maria C. Notaro, nee (Patti) age 90, of Haddonfield, NJ  Beloved Wife of Dr. Armand J. Loving mother to Karen Notaro of Haddonfield and Kathleen Haines and her husband John of Colorado Springs. Co. Loving grandmother to Matthew and Andrew Haines. Also survived by 2 brothers Leonardo of Cherry Hill, NJ and Dr. Charles of Audubon, NJ.

Mrs. Notaro was a 40 year resident of Haddonfield. She was a clinical histologist at Wills Eye Hospital for many years. Mrs. Notaro was a member of the Philadelphia Opera Co. serving a VP for many years. Fond of Bridge she started the Bridge Club at Tavistock CC where she was a long time member with her husband.  She was a lover of the arts.

John R. Rushton, III MD, age 96 yrs of Cherry Hill, NJ, (Formerly of Haddonfield, NJ) passed peacefully at his home on July 21, 2018. Beloved husband of the Late Mary Elizabeth (nee Markward) and the late Frances (nee Lafferty-Grimley)


He survived by five adoring daughters: Mary (Libby) Elizabeth Del Viscio (late Jim) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Anne Gavranich (Joe) of Ocean City, NJ, Julie Wilson (Brock) of Marco Island, FL, Kim Rushton of Marco Island, FL and Joan Gilmore (Tom) of Shrewsbury, MA, 8 grandchildren . Beth Morlino (John), James, John, Joseph Del Viscio and Madeline Abrishamian (Luis), Joseph Gavranich and Sarah and Jack Gilmore.  3 Great grandchildren James and John Morlino and Elle Abrishamian.

Dr. John R. Rushton III M.D.graduated from Camden Catholic High School in 1940. He attended Villanova University for 1 year then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He attended Washington and Lee University and the University of Chicago until 1944. He then went to Jefferson Medical College, graduated in 1948 and proceeded to specialize in Psychiatry and Neurology.Re-enlisting in the U.S .Navy in 1954, he served at Great Lakes Naval Base for 2 years. During this time he feel in love with Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Markward, married and started a family.Dr. Rushton began his private practice and founded Our Lady of Lourdes Mental Health Unit, then started Burlington County Hospital Mental Health Unit and the Elmer County Hospital Free Clinic.  He was also on the staff at Cooper Hospital, the Philadelphia Psychiatric Institute and The Friends Hospital of Philadelphia.  He was a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a member of the South Jersey Medical Society for 55 years.He retired from private practice at the age of 88. He donated countless hours to family and friends with  loving guidance. He was a caring and compassionate physician who always made house calls and served his patients with unparallel dedication.Dr. Rushton was amateur inventor and enjoyed pursing many patents.  He was a frequent toastmaster and had a legendary sense of humor. John Rushton was a loving father, grandfather and friend with a generous heart for all.
