Andrew “Andy” Bertorelli, age 51, passed away on December 19, 2021, lovingly surrounded by his family. He will be forever missed.
Andy is survived by his devoted wife, Diana (nee Hermann), two sons, Paul and Mark, whom he adored; loving family, including his parents, David and Margaret (nee Goldsmith) of Lincroft, NJ; brother, Luke (Allison) of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Cristina Olsen (Fred) of Little Silver, NJ; parents-in-law, Edward and Judy Heaney of Medford, NJ; and sister-in-law, Lisa McLaughlin of Sewell, NJ. Andy is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Raised in Lincroft, NJ, Andy’s loving parents instilled a strong sense of the importance of family. Andy graduated from Christian Brother’s Academy in 1989 and then attended the University of Delaware, majored in criminal justice, and graduated in 1993. Andy earned a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law in 2000 and was employed by Marshall Denning/UnitedLex since 2016.
Andy and Diana married in 2000 and moved to Haddonfield a year later to start a family. Andy was a wonderful husband and best friend to Diana. Above all, Andy was a devoted and amazing father to Paul and Mark. Their interests throughout the years quickly became his own. Whether attending their basketball, baseball, or football games, he was always there to support them. He was so proud of the great people Paul and Mark had become and will continue to be as they honor his legacy.
An avid outdoorsman, Andy instilled his love of fishing and hunting in his boys. He had a great passion for history and spent countless hours on genealogy research. His sarcastic sense of humor, and love of debating just about any topic, will be sorely missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 12 to 2 PM at the HINSKI-TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME, 81 Haddon Ave., Haddonfield, NJ. A memorial service will be celebrated at 2 PM. Interment private.
